This section contains the video archive of Saeima sittings and live video streams of events taking place in the parliament.

Live streams of Saeima sittings are also available on the Parliament’s Facebook and YouTube accounts.

Embedding live streams

Live streams of Saeima sittings, the broadcast “Parliamentary Group Opinions”, and other events taking place in the parliament may be embedded in other websites by using the embedding functionality available on the Saeima’s official Facebook and YouTube accounts.

Terms and conditions for publishing live streams

When publishing a live stream, the live stream published on the Saeima’s official Facebook or YouTube account and the embedding code provided by the respective platform must be used. The content of the live stream and the embedding code may not be modified.

Live streams of Saeima sittings, the broadcast “Parliamentary Group Opinions”, and other events taking place in the parliament are the property of the Saeima Administration and are protected by the Copyright Law. When embedding the live stream, it is mandatory to indicate the Saeima Administration as the copyright holder.  

It is prohibited to use the live stream or videos from the archive in a manner that discredits the Saeima and the people appearing in the material or misleads the viewers about the circumstances in which the material was filmed; the material cannot be used for commercial advertising purposes.

Failure to comply with terms and conditions may be considered an infringement of copyright or other intellectual property rights. The infringing party may be held liable in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The Saeima reserves the right to restrict the embedding of live streams if publishing conditions are not observed.
