MPs in Tbilisi affirm Baltic support for Eastern Partnership policy
Members of the Saeima are in Tbilisi, capital of Georgia, attending an event aimed at assessing the results of the recent Eastern Partnership summit. During the event, the Latvian representatives stressed the importance of close cooperation, support and honest communication for Eastern Partnership countries, noting that such a focus paves the way to ever closer integration with the European Union for the partner countries. 
Lolita Čigāne, Chair of the Saeima European Affairs Committee, Ojārs Ēriks Kalniņš, Chair of the Saeima Foreign Affairs Committee, and MP Artis Rasmanis, member of the Saeima Foreign Affairs Committee, will visit the Georgian capital Tbilisi to discuss the outcomes of the 5th Eastern Partnership Summit with officials from Eastern Partnership countries.
Ināra Mūrniece: As long as we want it, Latvia will go on

Baltic parliamentarians call for more active cooperation in foreign policy, security and defence
