Saeima: Latvian citizens can volunteer to serve in Ukraine
On Monday, 28 February, the Saeima unanimously adopted in the second and final reading urgent amendments to the National Security Law, allowing Latvian citizens to volunteer for military service in Ukraine.

Presidium of the Baltic Assembly: Russia's decision is an attack on the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine
The Presidium of the Baltic Assembly firmly condemns the decision taken by the President of the Russian Federation to recognise the independence of the self-declared “people’s republics” of Luhansk and Donetsk. According to the statement adopted by the Presidium of the Baltic Assembly on 22 February, this is yet another attack on the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as a gross violation of international law.
