Composition of the 11th Saeima is announced

The Central Election Commission has announced the final results of the extraordinary general election. Concord Centre has received 31 seats, Zatlers’ Reform Party 22 seats, Unity 20 seats. All for Latvia and For Fatherland and Freedom/LNNK will be represented by 14 MPs, and Union of Greens and Farmers by 13 MPs.

The new convocation of the Saeima will comprise 63 re-elected members of the 10th Saeima, 34 MPs elected for the first time and three MPs previously elected to the 7th Saeima.

Seven representatives of the alliance of political parties Concord Centre have been elected for the first time: Irina Cvetkova, Andrejs Elksniņš, Marjana Ivanova-Jevsejeva, Jeļena Lazareva, Sergejs Potapkins, Vladimirs Reskājs and Ivars Zariņš. Concord Centre will have 24 re-elected MPs: Jānis Ādamsons, Valērijs Agešins, Boriss Cilevičs, Sergejs Dolgopolovs, Aleksandrs Jakimovs, Viktors Jakovļevs, Nikolajs Kabanovs, Andrejs Klementjevs, Ivans Klementjevs, Igors Meļņikovs, Sergejs Mirskis, Vladimirs Nikonovs, Ņikita Ņikiforovs, Vitālijs Orlovs, Igors Pimenovs, Ivans Ribakovs, Dmitrijs Rodionovs, Artūrs Rubiks, Raimonds Rubiks, Aleksandrs Sakovskis, Jānis Tutins, Jānis Urbanovičs, Mihails Zemļinskis and Igors Zujevs.

Zatlers’ Reform Party has 22 seats. It will have 20 MPs elected for the first time: Guntars Bilsēns, Inita Bišofa, Inga Bite, Edmunds Demiters, Vjačeslavs Dombrovskis, Kārlis Eņģelis, Gunārs Igaunis, Jānis Junkurs, Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica, Valdis Liepiņš, Inese Lībiņa-Egnere, Jānis Ozoliņš, Gunārs Rusiņš, Elīna Siliņa, Edmunds Sprūdžs, Jānis Upenieks, Viktors Valainis, Inga Vanaga, Juris Viļums and Valdis Zatlers. As for Klāvs Olšteins, he was a member of the 10th Saeima, and Romualds Ražuks was an MP in the 7th Saeima.

The Unity party has 20 seats. This will be the first parliamentary experience for Andrejs Judins. Jānis Lāčplēsis was a member in the 7th Saeima. The following members of the 10th Saeima representing this party have been re-elected: Dzintars Ābiķis, Solvita Āboltiņa, Andris Buiķis, Ilma Čepāne, Valdis Dombrovskis, Ina Druviete, Ojārs Ēriks Kalniņš, Janīna Kursīte-Pakule, Ainars Latkovskis, Atis Lejiņš, Aleksejs Loskutovs, Artis Pabriks, Jānis Reirs, Inguna Rībena, Edvards Smiltēns, Andris Vilks, Ilze Viņķele and Dzintars Zaķis.

The national alliance of All for Latvia and For Fatherland and Freedom/LNNK has 14 seats. The national alliance will have six new MPs: Kārlis Krēsliņš, Ilmārs Latkovskis, Ināra Mūrniece, Romāns Naudiņš, Vineta Poriņa and Dāvis Stalts. Seven members of the 10th Saeima representing this alliance have been re-elected: Gaidis Bērziņš, Einārs Cilinskis, Jānis Dombrava, Raivis Dzintars, Inese Laizāne, Imants Parādnieks and Dzintars Rasnačs. As for Dzintars Kudums, he was an MP in the 7th Saeima.

The Union of Greens and Farmers is represented by 13 MPs, all of whom have previous parliamentary experience: Uldis Augulis, Aija Barča, Andris Bērziņš, Augusts Brigmanis, Jānis Dūklavs, Rihards Eigims, Iveta Grigule, Jānis Klaužs, Ingmārs Līdaka, Dana Reizniece-Ozola, Kārlis Seržants, Raimonds Vējonis and Jānis Vucāns.
