In order to learn from Latvia’s experience, inter alia in regard to European integration issues, staff members of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament of Ukraine) will visit the Saeima on 16 and 17 May. 

During the experience sharing visit, the employees of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada will learn about Latvia’s experience and acquaint themselves with the role of our parliament in European Union integration processes, and with how national legislation is aligned with European Union law. 

The staff members of the Ukrainian parliament will meet with members of the European Affairs Committee of the Saeima and staff of the Analytical Service and the parliament library. They will also meet with representatives of the State Chancellery, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice.
